(Job Responsibilities & Requirements):

Key Job Accountabilities 1.Legal Matters: Responsible for Plexus China legal strategy and oversee the management of legal risk or matters affecting Plexus and related processes including to upkeep the litigation lists and to implement litigation hold process. Coordinates and participate in the project, legal matters and/or global legal initiatives lead by other company functions, GHQ and/or global legal team. Lead to negotiate successful outcomes of disputes through formal and informal dispute resolution. Analyze and effectively communicate risks across all levels of the organization to facilitate informed decision making. Obtains and coordinates the services of external counsel as required. Lead to implement new compliance program for new/revised laws in China regions. 2.Regulatory Advisory: Oversee and provide support, advice and counselling to the Company and/or customers (as required) on various compliance matters assigned which include but not limited to HR, trade, IP, treasury/finance related affairs, corporate development and real estate investment in China region. Task to provide inputs and calibrate with Regional Office and GHQ for any new and revised policies. 3.Commercial: Oversee the contract management processes in APAC region especially for China. Prepare, review, draft and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts including customer and supplier contracts. Provide dedicated support and advice to internal customer especially for market/customer sector as assigned. Maintain focus on our end customers (win-win) and develop strong partnerships with other functions across the organization to achieve successful business outcomes and negotiate contracts with an appropriate balance of risk and reward consistent with Plexus‘ strategy and risk appetite. Develop, maintain, and continuously improve upon contracting processes and resources available to the legal and business teams. Acting as a legal business partner to internal customers by providing effective guidance and solutions, listening, delivering on commitments, seeking opportunities to learn and teach, and being respectful and passionate. 4.Compliance and Ethics: Oversee Plexus China compliance programs in the area of ethics covering business integrity, no improper advantage, disclosure of information, intellectual property, fair business, advertising and competition, no identified risk of retaliation, personal data protection, cybersecurity and conflict of minerals in particulars. To lead and conduct internal investigation for any assigned ethics hotline complaint, if any. 5.Environment, Social and Governance (ESG):Oversee the legal support to other ESG team-members in developing and executing Plexus corporate social responsibility strategies objectives especially in relation to “Governance”, in particular to implement RBA effectively in China region. 6.Training/Special Projects: Develop and deliver training on key job responsibilities areas stated above as appropriate. As required, provide support and/or lead special projects and strategic transactions by conducting research, drafting documents, and taking ownership of steps required for successful completion. 7.Management:Accountable to execute on Plexus’ Best People strategy, leaders will focus on evaluating potential, driving succession planning and ensuring that their employees receive the development and coaching required to realize their full potential.
Qualifications: ?A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Laws is required. ?Five (5) years of related experience is required. ?Strong negotiation skills/experience and business judgement. Good strategic thinking, decision-making and problem solving skills and the willingness to be a business partner by providing practical legal solutions to internal stakeholders. ?Ability to maintain confidentiality of all department, company, customer and other third party information. ?Ability to quickly, succinctly and accurately analyze, understand and respond to contract provisions. ?Able to manage a high volume of documents and communication. ?A team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to evolve in an international environment to develop and maintain close working relationships within the organization ?High degree of professional ethics and integrity. ?Able to read, write and speak fluent English and Mandarin.
